Welcome to the weekend view. This week has been full of behind the scenes work, regrouping a bit and family fun after almost a month of not getting together.

Behind The Scenes
Do you ever feel like you are on a treadmill and it just keeps on a keepin on and so- you just keep on keepin on- but not really accomplishing things enough to get them off your to-do list? So, though you are on the roll so to speak- you are not getting anywhere. Which I suppose is kind of how a treadmill actually works haha. But that is about where I have been recently- burnt toast was pretty much how I was feeling. So last week for my husband’s birthday, I wrapped up the work I needed to for a quick overnight getaway at the coast. The ocean, farmlands, sweetest cows and 2 days of driving and chilling for a bit – all so nice for a much needed break. I am grateful we live where we do to be able to sneak over to the coast or up to the mountains pretty quickly when needed.

Side note- I drove by so many old abandoned houses out in fields- the one below was being worked on and what a beautiful house it will be when fixed up! I am seriously thinking about trying to find out who owns some of them and see if they want to sell- so much beauty that is just fading away.

Family Day Fun
We skipped several family day get togethers in a row because of the grand kids sharing a new cold with their cousins each week. And then sharing with their parents and so on. So, everyone was taking it easy and chatting on FaceTime instead of over lunch. But yesterday, we all got together and we had such a fun day with all the babies! Juliette recently lost her first tooth, Enzo, Jionni and Jio are all growing like weeds, Sophie is a wee princess and little Sienna is already 9.5lbs. A couple weeks of not giving them cuddles and loves and it feels like it was months!
Coming your Way
I am knee deep in some offline work this week but will be sharing some fun sweethearts day posts, a simple update in the the house and garden inspiration for things you can do now (even if you have wintery gloom where you are)
And as well, we will have some blog updates soon that I hope those of you have been unhappy with the ads that on the blog will be excited about. Stay tuned!
Happy weekend friends.
