Welcome to the weekend view
It is all random on the weekends over here- and this weekend even more so than usual.
Sweethearts Day
I did it again. I made the chunkiest, most delicious peanut butter cup cheesecake. It had an extra thick Oreo crust and extra peanut butter and less sugar than the recipe called for.
Why you ask? Well, in the busy of making the cheesecake and trying to film it for a recipe video for you all without my assistant- I transposed the two measurements. So- more peanut butter & less brown sugar than it called for. haha. Talk about peanut buttery deliciousness.
It all worked out either way- my husband loved it and didn’t even realize that I had an oops. You can find the Correct recipe here.
Florals on repeat and repeat and repeat
I am working on some super fun floral projects coming up in the next couple of weeks.
A couple of them involve arrangements and others involve tables and creating some how-to video but- with my assistant this time 🙂 haha. I will be sharing a couple of sneak peeks along the way.
Travel & Inspiration
You already know that I am a big sucker for beautiful blooms… but also for scenery that inspires me.
I tend to go with the ‘Will stop for Flowers, Good Coffee and Beautiful Scenery’ mindset on a road trip.
It does take a bit of extra time to get where I am going sometimes… but it is worth it.
And on a side note- I am onto day 23 of that 30 day Yoga Challenge that is all about ‘balance’
I will weigh in with my thoughts and what I learned when this challenge is wrapped up
Spring Projects
We are tackling a few big spring projects over here.
Last week, the power company cut probably about 20 huge old growth trees down
all along one side of our property. That is a lot of trees folks. We are not too thrilled about it but they are doing it all over the state for safety from the fires and there isn’t much you can do about it.
And along with that- comes a mess.
And it is also is creating quite the bare feeling over there-
and so garden projects are on the list
I will be sharing what we are doing along with design plans and tips to create your own garden oasis – and how to have big garden impact in small spaces as well.

And THANK YOU for sticking with me while blog updates have been put in place over here.
It has been CRAZY.
I didn’t realize how hard taking more than a couple days off of posting would be-
but I am excited that we are back to regularly scheduled programming
and the refresh should be wrapped up and in place soon.
AND along with that –
stay tuned for something special for subscribers as well.
Happy weekend all
I look daily for your posts. I was all about shabby chic, which I adore. Since following you I have added gold mirrors and more of a french/ shabby look. I use your book for inspiration all the time.
