Vintage inspired and oh so pretty in the garden- adding a pretty table and chair set to your garden or patio area is a simple way to add a bit of European charm easily.
So many of you have messaged me asking about this patio set from the English Cottage garden reveal earlier this week. This set is from probably about 15 years ago- and unfortunately I haven’t found the same exact one to link for you- but I did find some beautiful options for getting the look. Sharing the links below (affiliate links) and hopefully there will be one that speaks to you. Several of them are black- but easy to pick up some spray paint and transform it to white or any other color you would like.
Here are 10 different options- from 5 piece sets to bistro sets to chairs – and even a sitting area set to get the look.
Victorian Ornate
This one reminds of a vintage set that would be found in a little English garden.
Capri Vintage Style
More modern but looks sturdy.
Simple Vintage
This is for those of you who love more clean lines on furniture- I think it would be beautiful painted.
The Bistro Sets were far easier to find with the scrolling floral details. If you love this look but need more than 2 chairs- you could try several grouped together- kind of like a little French cafe in your yard. 🙂
Vintage Bistro Set
Floral Bistro Set
Chippy White Bistro Set
This one might be a favorite because of the style and shape of the table- so cute & vintage.
Roses Bistro
This one is basically all about roses. So pretty.
And a couple more patio sets I found that are leaning a little more vintage in look and styling.
Vintage Inspired 5 Piece Patio
Victorian Inspired Set
I love this one-so sweet with those dainty details.
Vintage Inspired Chairs
In case you just need a few extra chairs or a the chairs for using with an existing table. These chairs have a similar look and feeling to mine- again- you can paint them white if you would like to.
And one (or two) for the road- if you don’t have space for a full size dining set or don’t want a little bistro set- you can add that charm with a small bench as well. These are both so cute- I love the one in white (and they are both under $130)
How about a charming bench?
Here it is in White also- so cute!
Hope this gives you some ideas and inspiration for adding a bit of European inspired charm to your garden or patio this summer.
Happy Friday all!!

Any tips to keep them from Rusting? I INHERITED a cute set from my mom and want to make sure it stays nice.
Courtney says
I think your set might be cast iron- I believe they do rust. I think if you use one of the outdoor furniture spray paints that are an enamel type to protect it- that might be the best way to go. I haven’t done anything with ours- I have a black set and white set and neither has rusted even being outdoors and unattended to all these years- but they are aluminum so I think they don’t rust.

The iron sets do rust when outside, but as Courtney said, spray paint is the easiest and least expensive way to freshen them up when they need it. When my daughter bought her first home, a dear friend of ours gave her an antique multi piece cast iron set with a sofa, loveseat and chair, My daughter has had it for 8 years now ( it must be at least 80 years old) and spray paints it every year.
There is another solution and that is to have you set professionally powder coated. You may be able to find a local company that will do it.

We just recently received the first set pictured “victorian ornate”from home Depot. Many other sites had it but hd had the best price. it far exceeded my expectations. very stury, roomy chairs and really really pretty. One of my happiest buys ever.

Oh that is great to know! It looks so pretty.

The antique white is ethereal and in the blue it reminds me of cornflowers. Garden dreaming!

Love these victorian patio sets!! have a few in my GARDENS. If cast iron i use professional rustoleum paint from dp or lowes. Aluminum you can’t paint unless it is etched. Found out by trying…and a painter told me also.
