When it comes to Christmas in July… you know I am all about setting up the twinkling trees and decorating tables with ambiance. I love to mingle the seasons- and what better way to mingle the magic of Christmas with the magic of summer than to set up for a gathering out under the stars? With fairy lights on repeat and a tree dressed with beautiful foliage and of course, an abundance of beautiful summer blooms- together they create a magic filled July gathering.
Magic Filled July Gathering
This gathering started with all things magic filled. Twinkle lights on repeat is a thing! I started with a sweet foliage garland that is filled with leaves and berries and charming little lights. This lush lit foliage is one of my favorites because not only is it perfect for using during the holidays- it also has a lovely look for anytime of the year. I will show it styled in a different way again here soon.
What I love about this garland: I have both the plug in garland and battery operated garland options and love them both for different reasons. The battery garland is perfect for adding to places where you don’t want a cord or don’t have an outlet. Like the center of a table.
I also used the battery operated garland attached to the overhead lights.
The plug in version is tucked into the branches of the tree.
What I love about this tree: I love a twinkling tree decorated with more lights and a lovely foliage. While using fresh foliage and flowers is always a good thing- sometimes you want to keep it easy and keep it lasting longer. In that case- a faux garland is perfect. This garland has an abundance of leaves and white berries along with lights to add a charming look.
I added a couple of strands of cafe globe lights for even more magic as well.
Bring in the blooming beauty
Well you know it wouldn’t be my signature style if I didn’t include some blooming beauty. From flower filled plates to etched stemware to vases of blooms. Especially in summer, adding flower filled beauty brings the finishing touch and mingles the seasons perfectly.
Background Layers of Lovely
In the background- I added wreaths to the tops of the wine barrel tables we have and then placed a large lantern in the center. The ambiance on repeat in the background of the table just makes it even more inviting and cozy.
