From simple greens to a wee twinkling tree- adding beautiful Christmas touches to the kitchen is easy to do. Today I am sharing a few favorite ways to sprinkle a little Christmas cheer in the kitchen.
Beautiful Christmas in the Kitchen
The kitchen is the heart of the home. And during the holidays it is well loved with baking and cooking, gathering with family and friends and more. So of course, I am one of those who think that a beautiful Christmas kitchen is perfect- even if it is just a little sprinkle.

So how do you decorate for Christmas in the kitchen? Without overwhelming the work space & cluttering up the counters too much- you can bring in a sprinkle in several ways.
Bring in something fresh
Always a favorite way is to use fresh greens- wreaths, swags, garlands or even small potted trees. They bring an abundance of Christmas cheer- and their scent adds another layer as well.

Add a Wee Tree

A wee tree can sit on the island or in the corner of the kitchen and bring big Christmas cheer. I love to keep them on the simple side and think things like orange slices fit the natural look – or just a few cheerful baubles are perfect too.

Bowls of nuts, fruit or ornaments
Bring in some copper accents or some fruit or ornaments in a bowl for a little more festive touch. Simple and easy and adds so much charm.

A Fresh Christmas Bouquet

Fresh roses and greens are perfect for a festive touch and bring so much beauty. I am a big fresh flowers kind of girl anytime of the year and Christmas time is no exception.

Add a swag of greens to the wall
I am obsessed with juniper greens but you can use cedar or pine or whatever you have in your yard even. Tie it with a ribbon and hang on the wall for a beautiful touch.

Drape a garland
Something fun we did this year is to drape a fresh cedar garland on the beams in the opening to the kitchen. Simple and sweet and full of Christmas cheer.

Of course there are so many ways to add Christmas cheer to the kitchen and everywhere in your home. I always say there is no right or wrong way- if it makes you happy, it is perfect. What is your favorite way to add a touch of Christmas in the kitchen?
Happy Monday friends.

Always charmingly beautiful!
Simple and perfect.
Hi Courtney I always add a fun vignette to my kitchen table. This year a standing goose created by my dad takes center stage. I off set it so the rest of the table is available for a quick sit down. Wreaths above the sink, create texture and pretty velvet ribbon softens. I have a wonderful Built in display cabinet that gets my Spode Christmas Tree.
Beautiful as always♥️ i love to decorate the kitchen & always hang a cedar garland over my large kitchen window; i place a little tree in a crock on the counter; i hang a wreath on the hood & put a couple of gingerbread cookie jars on the shelves with a little seasonal greenery.
I would love pictures of your christmas decorated kitchen~ it sounds bea ‼️
stunning ❤️
At the far end of the kitchen I have a china hutch. I decorate the top of the credenza (the bottom part of the piece of furniture) with a fir garland and lighted candles interspersed, and then I bake away in the coziness of the Christmas spirit, with christmas music melodiously keeping me company in the background. I love to be alone at these times.
