Beautiful Pumpkin Floral Arrangement

A lovely little autumn moment inspired by a cinderella pumpkin and a mingle of flowers. My new book French Country Cottage Seasons releases September 29th and I am so excited to officially welcome it tomorrow.  Today sharing another peek at a styling in the book- a lovely little pumpkin flower arrangement on an antique settee. 

A Magic Filled Autumn Moment

I started with a lovely little heirloom pumpkin which I carved and then turned into a floral arrangement. Tucking fresh and dried flowers inside, it became a beautiful blooming autumn moment. 

I decided to photograph it in several places. On the mantel in my bedroom. On our 200 year old church pews for an autumn wedding and on a table as expected. But something I always like to do is take photos of floral arrangements on chairs. Oh my goodness the amount of beautiful old chairs I love to collect just for using for photography. I suppose it could be worse, I could be collecting much larger pieces instead of chairs, but I do have a few. 

I placed the pumpkin floral on this antique settee for a few snaps and it was pure magic. 

Nothing too busy. Nothing too designed. Just a lovely little bit of simple seasonal magic in a moment. 

This photo landed in the pages of my new book SEASONS and you might see the floral arrangement showing up in other settings in the pages too.
