Can you believe it is Christmas Eve?
All is calm.
All is bright.
All is sprinkled with twinkle lights and Christmas magic.
And our house is full with the kids… and 3 new grand dogs.
And our original grand dog Mr. Weenie.
And I will be honest…
it feels a bit crazy with loud chaos with each of them running around like maniacs
and barking.
That is a lot of puppy energy in the house.
And the kids chasing after the dogs as they antagonize each other.
And the wrapping paper being shredded to bits by the husky grand dog, the squeaks to be picked up from the wee maltipoo grand dog, and Mr. Weenie barking for more food and speaking of food while Sweet Pea retreats to the bedroom to escape the chaos….
the food flying has been out of the fridge
and the coffee has been on repeat.
And I love every single minute of it.
The chaos.
The busy.
The noise.
The messes.
I love the hustle and bustle and busy in the house with the kids home.
This is the first Christmas that all the kids have moved out of the house
so I am feeling even more excited to have a full happy crazy chaotic house again.
This past week and this weekend-
I am taking time to simply be present and enjoy the fleeting Christmas season
and the magic that comes with it.
This year it feels like the holiday season has absolutely flown by and when I realized we were just a few short days away from Christmas last week,
I decided to slow down, take a bit of a break and simply enjoy.
And I am going to be a bit mushy over here very soon for several reasons.
I am so excited about so much coming to French Country Cottage in the new year and I am so grateful for the opportunities that this blog has brought.
And a big reason of that is because of you.
Each and every one of you who takes the time to come by and read my posts and say hello are a huge part of French Country Cottage and I am so incredibly grateful for each and every you and your friendship and support.
I cannot say thank you enough
and I am so thankful that you are a part of my world.
Wishing you the merriest and most blessed Christmas sprinkled
with an abundance of magic.
Merry Christmas everyone.
