I took so many pictures in High Point~ there are way too many to put into just one or two posts
There was just so much inspiration to be found.
If you missed my first post about High Point and the fun us girls had
you can find it here
I spent most of Monday with the bloggers I met up with and then on Tuesday
I perused the inspirations on my own before heading to the airport in the early evening.
As a blogger at the Market we were considered Press and were thrilled to enjoy perks
as part of the various Press that was there to report about the Market
We started our day on Monday with a wonderful breakfast and listening to Aerin Lauder
(who is the granddaughter of Estee Lauder)
speak about her new line and designing before we headed off to peruse the inspirations.
We saw lots of inspirations for colors and pieces for the coming year.
I loved the bright kiwi, yellows and blues.
I also loved the pinks and taupes.
We oohed and aahed over the gorgeous chandeliers at Crystorama
I loved the garden inspirations at Elegant Earth
and Kim from Savvy Southern Style and I were in absolute love with
all the gorgeous aubusson pillows at Chinawind
Another fantastic place for inspiration was
A and B Home -gorgeous.
We certainly saw a lot of that Pantone Emerald Green color
on walls, fabrics and accents
Painted pieces and antiques at Somerset Bay
I almost bought a faux one of these swordfish at a flea market one time.
It was missing quite a few bits and parts- I think it was styrofoam or something like that.
Anyway, I thought it would be perfect for a beach styling.
Now I am wishing I would have brought it home.
Also loved the antique copper canisters.
I mentioned in the other post about High Point that I visited Thibaut~ loved their vibrant colors
and bold patterns.
This little chippy desk mixed with the coral- love.
Eloquence had some amazing Frenchy, vintage pieces.
Always love Scalamandr’e and the bold zebra prints with the red was beautiful.
One more stop for me before it was off to grab my luggage and catch the plane back to California
Shabby Chic
When I saw they had a Shabby Chic showroom- I had to go visit it.
Dainty details
pink tufted goodness
and always gorgeous beds and linens
It was a a bit of a trek out to the showroom which was on the outskirts of town
but it was worth it.
A few more photos and all that gorgeous inspiration
from Accentrics Home coming up soon.
