There were so many beautiful trends that we spotted at High Point Market this fall…
And one of them-
was all things velvety good.
Velvet is that fabulous material that is so soft and cozy that you just to wrap yourself up with it.
It is beautiful enough all by itself to take a simple chair to elegant levels-
but it welcoming and inviting at the same time.
Basically, I am a big velvet fan- and so, when I saw so much of it popping up at Market- I was pretty excited.
Today I am sharing a few pieces that let the velvet do most of the talking.
Mod Shop had a whole lot of velvet love going on.
Chairs, sofas pillows and more.
Over at Younger Furniture–
it was all about subtle soft greens
and dusty purple pink.
Another soft sage in a modern style is showing some leg…
this chair from Green Apple Home Style.
At Century Furniture– it was all about soft and subtle- with a touch of glam.
I love the simple neutrals always- and in velvet- even better.
Sometimes all it takes is a small pillow make a big velvety statement.
Loved these velvet pillows at Bernhardt– and in the perfect soft color again.
How about a bit of a walk on the bold side color wise?
Theodore Alexander was covered in velvet.
From green
to a bed and ottoman covered in pink.
And of course, I can’t leave out one of my favorite velvet finds this market-
this amazing little ruffled velvet throw from Rachel Ashwell Shabby Chic.
Definitely putting that one on the Christmas list.
Those are just a few of the photos I snapped that had a bit of velvet goodness in them-
and coming your way next in the High Point Market re-caps-
a new to me showroom that was speaking my language and became a fast favorite at hello.
Happy Wednesday everyone.
Disclosure:
I worked with the Market and DBC to share my favorites from High Point Market
but all opinions are my own.
