Yesterday I shared a look at our front entry dressed for autumn
with magnolia garland, pumpkins and lanterns.
And today- it is all about going a little more bold
by changing just 2 things.
I am not usually a bold and beautiful autumn colors kind of girl.
And so, that gorgeous magnolia garland and wreath is pretty amazing-and neutral
and a favorite look of mine
all through fall and Christmas.
But sometimes, I want to go big and bold…
and when it comes to saying ‘Welcome Autumn’ in a bigger way
a bright bittersweet berry wreath
against a black door
with brass accents …
well, it kind of knocks me over.
I know it is a simple combination
but it is irresistible.
I mentioned in my post yesterday that I did a quick change with the look of the front door
with just 2 things.
The first was that wreath.
I took the magnolia garland and wreath down
and put up this Fall Berry Wreath from Balsam Hill.
Serious black and white and autumn love.
Up next, I moved some of those muted princess pumpkins
and brought out a sprinkling of traditional orange pumpkins.
The funny thing about those Cinderella pumpkins is that they will lean a bit more orange
if you mix them with orange- so feel free to leave them
or just do a little shuffling around.
I also left the Candela lanterns and Miracle Flame candles
and stepped back and called it good.
So with just two changes- from magnolia to fall berry
and from muted to traditional pumpkins…
the front entry looked completely different.
I am kinda liking the bold and beautiful.
😉
I am excited to be joining my friends and Balsam Hill for the Fall in Love
