Happy weekend everyone.
It is all random over here on the weekends…
and this week
it is all about spilling the beans on a secret project.
A year ago in January, I was playing with quite a few more flowers than usual.
I had buckets of pretty garden roses in an array of colors and sizes,
bunches of ranunculus and fresh cottage style flowers
silver brunia and eucalyptus
and more.
I filled my favorite vintage containers
with favorite flowers
and designed fresh wreaths dotted with fresh blooms.
And then I sent the designs and photographs off to my Balsam Hill family.
And they did something amazing with them.
They choose some of the designs to recreate with faux flowers for
a French Country Cottage licensed Floral Collection.
Seriously.

can be enjoyed all year long for years and years is more than a little crazy.

French Country Cottage floral collection
with you.

I am giving you a first look at each of them

#1. Loire Valley
This is my favorite in the collection.
It is a tall arrangement that has a bit of French cottage appeal.
Filled with yellow garden roses, eucalyptus and white hydrangeas
it is a large size that is perfect for a mantel, a table or an entry arrangement- and it has the most realistic flowers that even feel like they are real.

#2. Brittany Rose
This is a simple and sweet farmhouse inspired arrangement.
Something that I wanted to do when designing these was to use vintage containers
and more unusual vessels – and this metal bucket was perfect.

I actually designed 2 color ways for this one- one that was muted and one that was more colorful
This is a mix of both.
It is filled with loads of garden roses.

One of the things I like most about these arrangements is that each one is different.
No two look exactly alike.
#3. Chantilly Collection
The Chantilly collection is all about simple soft muted charm.
Blush roses, anemone, thistle and Queen Anne’s lace-
Balsam Hill liked the colors and style of this one so much that they also created
a wreath based off the design.

#4. Marseille Meadow
A wreath of olive, rosemary and eucalyptus with wax flower, silver brunia and white ranunculus.
A simple farmhouse inspired design that looks beautiful all year long.
I love the soft sages mingling together.
And this was one that they also decided to turn into a garland to round out the collection.

You can see this was one that changed a bit as my original design was in a vintage silver creamer container. There were some issues with the container when it came in and so- they decided on a simple white vase this time.

Ohhhh how lovely! I'm so excited for you! I'm rather smitten with the Loire (such a perfect yellow) and the Chantilly (love the pinks) I am redoing a kitchen and have been sending my designer your blog posts…I may be getting your stove. (this is me grinning ear to ear here) Anyway, doing a classic white kitchen in our 1900's farmhouse and although I have tons of english roses and peonies planted in my garden, they are not always blooming. And I'm rather snobby about fake flowers but these look AMAZING!

They are all gorgeous — I'd love to have them all. But the one that calls to me is Chantilly — the blush color was my mamma's favorite color and it was the color of the dress she wore when she married my papà. It would be perfect in our home — I'm staging to sell it so we can move closer to our kids and grandkids. Perhaps it would be my lucky charm to get the house sold in a hurry!!

Like everyone else, I think all of them are enchanting and welcoming in each their own way. But my heart is always faithful to my favorite, anything with eucalyptus leaves, so Marseille Meadow speaks to me the most.

Your collections are amazing and this one definitely brings the freshness of spring into the home. I think all of your designs are spectacular and it really makes it hard to pick a favorite but I like the softness and colors in Brittany Rose. I can almost smell the scent of the roses from here.
