Christmas Eve & a story when Carol of the Bells made me cry

Twinkling trees and cozy.

With soft Christmas music playing on repeat...then that one song comes on and always takes me back to the time I heard it played live and my heart soared and tears welled in my eyes.
It was a dark night full of twinkle lights & santa hats in an old bar in a not so great part of town.
It was almost Christmas and it was all of a sudden so quiet before that first note started to play...

A guitar strummed the first note.

Played by the best band in the world.

It is Christmas Eve.

Thank you so much for being here and reading my musings and being a part of French Country Cottage.  Wishing each of you and yours a very merry Christmas.
