A Cozy Christmas Table
As much as Christmas trees and pretty mantels are on repeat all season long- the star of the show on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day is the dining room with a beautiful Christmas table. Even if it is going to be a quiet, smaller dinner party- you can still set a pretty table to enjoy. Sharing a few ideas for tables with ambiance today- from place settings to centerpieces.

Twinkling Trees

Twinkling trees at the end of the table are perfect for brining a whole lot of Christmas cheer and magic. Whether you bring out a full size tree and dress it beautifully with baubles and ribbons – or you simple set a tree with twinkle lights up and call it good- that glow at the end of the table brings so much warmth.

Simplicity

On this years table- just a simple fresh greens garland with pinecones. Sometimes simple is perfect and unadorned garland has been on repeat many times over here.
Adorned with lights
Garlands topped with lights are always beautiful. Simply use a mixed greens and lit garland, add battery operated fairy lights or add candles tucked into the garland for the look. The warmth that comes from them being in the center of the table adds so much ambiance.

Flowers & Pinecones
And you can also adorn garlands with things like pinecones or flowers. Simply pick up a bunch of fresh roses or flowers at the grocery store and add them to your garland for a custom look. This is a mixed pine greens and eucalyptus garland with roses and magnolia leaves.

Holiday Glam
Bring on the gilded beauties for a touch of glam on the table. This look using a simple gold glass garland and brass candlesticks for the centerpiece was a 5 minute favorite. You can also achieve the same look using baubles or beads.

Ambiance on the table

Whether you are using twinkle lights or candles- that beautiful ambiance is what Christmas table dreams are made of. One of my favorites this year involved a whole lot of charm with a lit ornament garland.
Stack up the treats

This is something fun you can do with treats like cookies and cakes- or place greens and ornaments, layers of mini presents or anything goes.

Hi Connie! Thank you for your kind words and for gifting my book to your friends! So glad that they liked it! The chandeliers that are the smaller ones- in the flowers and pinecones are from Home Depot but it was awhile ago so not sure if they carry them any longer. The Larger ones are from Lamps Plus from several years ago- you can find them here: https://rstyle.me/+J_sq1AKzweJRketBQptRxA

Creating lovely table scapes are a passion of mine too. I admire the way you use the greens and lighting. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the lovely china (with the three trees) before. Would you share the name of the pattern? It really feels French!
Merci,
Mari
