Yes, it is all in the details sometimes.
Today I am sharing a closer look at that blue & white table setting-
this time without the table cloth
and just what the details are that made it so charming.
The Centerpiece
I started with an abundance of fresh eucalyptus
simply laid down the center of the table.
And those same ruffly garden roses mixed with ranunculus
in small bouquets were perfect.
I am a big believer and using and enjoying your fresh flowers as much as you can
while they are fresh.
Lighting
It is all about the lighting sometimes.
From small candles to fairy lights to those charming little stars filled with led lights
glowing in the backdrop.
Lighting for evenings and outdoor events is key in keeping your guests
feeling enchanted.
The place settings
Once again- I used the same elements for this table
as I shared last week for the more elegant blue & white table.
I wanted to show how very different the same table setting can look
with just a few changes.
These dishes are a mix and mingle of blue & white patterns.
With vintage inspired linen napkins and those gorgeous lacy chargers.
The same mix of wine stems-
blush, clear and gold rimmed
and gold flatware.
All together- I am in love with the rustic tabletop
mingling with the elegant place setting details.
Though I loved the table with the pretty white duvet cover as a tablecloth
rustic with elegant gets me every time
and this…
is my favorite.
You can find all the elements I used for this setting here:

Gold glasses (vases)
and to see more of the blue & white setting with the tablecloth-
you can find that here as well.
I am excited to be off to the flower market for a bit this morning-
and I am so excited to be introducing you to someone very special soon!
🙂
Happy Wednesday everyone!

I love romantic also. The lacey charger and the soft napkin plus the pink stemware, together makes a very romantic setting. I LOVE your beautiful soft approach.
That is so very beautiful – I have some dark Blue Danish plates that I really should use more & you have inspired me ….
