I have been thinking about a weekend getaway to the beach recently. Something about spring always draws me to the coast. The sand, the sea, the smell of the fresh air and sounds of the seagulls. And as a designer, soaking up the overall aesthetic of the beach with layers of blue, sand and white is always so beautiful. I definitely don’t have a ‘beach house’ decor style in our home- but I do love a little coastal cottage moment or sprinkle of that style. You might remember this shelf styling from back in the day here on the blog about 10 years ago. This was in the cottage – and the bookcases are now painted black.
Coastal Cottage Loves
From crisp white bedding to blue patterns and rattan and wicker accents- I bumped into a few fun finds while putting together a design board for something else. And thought I would share them in case you love blue and white decor and looking to add a little coastal cottage touch this spring too.
