A simple and sweet vignette for sweethearts day. And it all started with these beautiful florals and vintage treasures.

A perfect mix and mingle – beautiful florals and vintage treasures. What is not to love? I brought these up to the barn a few days ago to style a sweethearts table for the weekend. But I ended up just playing with a vignette on the sideboard and snapped a few photos to share.
Big Blooms
I like big blooms and I cannot lie… haha I had to do it. But these roses are definitely big blooming blooms though and they are so pretty in person. Stay tuned for more of something fun coming with these soon.
Avon Ruby Red Glassware
We bumped into a whole lot of vintage Avon Ruby Red glassware last year and brought some of it home. Ruby Red is not my usual color to collect but for a special styling coming up and so, it has been tucked into the cupboard in the barn. While I was looking for pieces to play with for the table, I found the goblets and candlesticks and pulled them out for the vignette.
Fun Facts about Avon Ruby Red Glassware from Google: Avon’s 1876 glass dinnerware line was introduced in 1975 and the pattern was discontinued in 1993. I am not sure what year this particular set of goblets or candlesticks are from but the candlesticks actually come apart so I believe they are the perfume bottles as well.
Vintage Florals
Stacks of vintage floral plates, pitchers and a sweet Capodimonte flower candle holder. Another fun vintage treasure to collect- I love old tole florals and Capodimonte florals and when I find them, they are always coming home with me.
I didn’t end up setting a sweethearts table in the barn this time- we all caught a bug after being at Disneyland with the grand babies and their parents last week so we have been laying low. But I am getting back to work over here and will get back up there to play again soon.

I love these containers and the ruby red pieces from Avon. I had a very good friend who sold it for decades before she passed. I may get that petcher I just love it.
