Cozy and winter go hand in hand. And when it comes to decor and entertaining- bringing all the cozy touches to your home and table settings is key. Today I am sharing a few ways to create that cozy winter magic in your home right now- from using some of your holiday decor that might be up yet (no judgement here, I have a silver tree up in the attic as I type this) to decor inspired by winter. And the best part is they are all so easy to do.
Cozy Winter Magic on the Table
A winter table setting inspired by freshly fallen snow and a winter landscape is a fun twist to a usual outdoor table. While this one requires cozy warm clothing and blankets- for an impromptu setting if you love the crisp air and snow- it might be perfect for you. I am not so much a fan of snow and winter- but the serene backdrop mingling with gilded touches and fresh flowers on the table definitely created a beautiful setting.

A Few Tips: Bring out baskets of blankets to wrap up in, serve something warm like cocoa or a hot toddy and bring out that summer fire pit for a cozy winter fire.

Cozy Fireplace Decor

Whether setting a table next to the fireplace or creating a sitting area – a fireplace brings all the cozy warmth and feelings.

Cozy Fireplace Tips: Bring out the candles and lanterns for even more warmth, add a few stools to perch on fireside or move your seating area a little closer for more cozy (safety first of course, make sure you have a screen with a wood fireplace to catch any wayward embers)
Cozy Candles in the bathroom

Bring in some cozy to your bathroom with candles. I love to place them on a ladder or the bathtub board for instant cozy. Tuck a couple into the sconces for even more cozy oomph.
Faux Candles on Timers
One of my favorite things right now- I replaced the real tapers with faux taper candles in the sconces. They come on every night around dusk and glow for several hours and it is instant ambiance and one you don’t have to think about going around to light to be able to enjoy. Linking my favorites below- they have a beautiful realistic flame flicker and several settings. I also love the faux chamberstick candles that you can set anywhere as well.

A touch of spring with flowers

Fresh flowers or faux flowers are always a lovely way to bring warmth to a room. Set a small vase or a large vase full on a table in the bedroom, on your nightstand or the mantel- or anywhere you would like a pop of pretty.
Potted Trees & Wreaths

Create a sweet table with vintage statuary, a spring wreath as a base and a scattering of cozy glow faux candles in mercury glass containers. This is one that can stay up for several months and bring a whole lot of ambiance to your winter home all season long.
Bring Nature Indoors

Pinecones are a wonderful natural touch for winter. Whether you put up a wreath, place a bowl of gathered cones on the table or just scatter a handful to enjoy here and there- a touch of nature with pinecones is perfect for winter decor.
