A little bit of Larkspur and a sprinkle of vintage blues on the table creates an enchanting styling for spring. We are jumping into this styling from my recent book ‘French Country Cottage In Bloom’ and sharing a bit more behind the look and how you can also achieve this look for your next gathering.
Lovely Larkspur & Stock & Blues
The starting point for this table was the flowers. I don’t know if I have met Larkspur blooms that I didn’t love. Give me all the purples, blues, pinks, whites and in between shades. I just adore their tall stems covered in dainty flowers. Much like foxgloves- they just speak sweet nothings to me for flower arrangements and I have them planted in the garden on repeat as well.

And that favorite often overlooked flower is included in this styling too- old fashioned cottage garden delightful Stock. I highly recommend it- mingled into an arrangement or just by itself- so lovely.
Tip: If you can’t find Larkspur – look for any other tall flowers to give you this look. Depending on the time of year, you may find snapdragons or stock, or even hydrangeas or roses that have a tall stem and can bring a similar taller look to your table.
Vintage Bottles and Jars
For this centerpiece, I used several vintage blue jars and collected sea glass green bottles. If you don’t have vintage blue jars- you can purchase the newer versions (shop the look) (affiliate)

Table Runner Details
This vintage runner has the sweetest little crochet details- but you can easily get the look with a new simple cotton, linen or even lace runner.
Tip: A runner for your table can be any type of fabric or pattern you would like-and make sure it is long enough to hang over the ends of the table for a little extra drama.

Candles & Moody Ambiance
A few candles tucked in among the blooms is perfect for a brunch- it doesn’t have to be dark for candles to bring a cozy feeling to a table setting.

Blue & White Plates
These vintage blue and white plates were a lovely touch. I love how the blue colors in the table, flowers and plates all mingle so perfectly.
Vintage plates don’t all have to match to create a lovely look on the table so don’t leave a single plate that catches your eye behind.
