September 1st means it is all about autumn over here. And though it is only the 19th of August- I have been seeing a lot of requests for early autumn decorating and so, delving in a bit early.
In early autumn (and late summer) those pumpkins are not too plentiful yet – so decor often looks more like bowls of rosy apples, little white pumpkins if you can find them and simple greens and autumn inspired flower arrangements. Today we are looking at back at a couple of early autumn decor touches in the kitchen – and stay tuned for this years kitchen coming your way very soon.
Rosy pomegranate
I am in love with how those rosy red pomegranates bring a charming touch to autumn decor. Simple and pretty and you can add them in a few minutes- it makes it easy to bring a festive feeling to the kitchen -or anywhere you place them. See this Full Kitchen Styling HERE

An abundance of autumn blooms
Sometimes autumn decor looks like a whole bucket of pretty flowers. I love the way the old bucket brings another bit of charm – and filled with grocery store seasonal blooms it is perfect. Add a bowl of peaches or apricots and it brings a warm festive look that isn’t as much about pumpkins but feels autumnal in a subtle way. See all the details of this styling HERE

20 Minutes and done
I love 20 minute decorating- less fuss and more fun and decor in a snap. These 20 minute looks are so easy and charming. See the details in this post HERE

Cabbages & baby boo’s
This is a simple idea for anywhere in the house- but especially perfect for the kitchen and dining room. A chunky cabbage and baby boo pumpkins creates a quick and easy and charming look. See the rest of the room HERE

Bring in some wheat
Wheat is always a pretty idea for autumn- and those bundles are so easy to add to the island. I love these charmers I found a few years ago- and they might be making an appearance around the house this year too. You can find more 5 Minute Ideas in this post HERE
