It is that time of year again… the one with all the twinkles, Christmas trees
and lots of merry & bright.
And today I am sharing a tour of some of our rooms dressed for Christmas.
I am joining Jenn Rizzo for her Holiday Housewalk which is always such a treat. Don’t forget to go over to her blog and start at day one.
If you are coming over from Craftberry Bush- Welcome!!
I will keep the talking to a minimum- I am actually in the middle of decking a 100+ year old farmhouse right now- and that will be coming to the blog soon- along with quite a few more tours of the rest of our home, little cottage and barn and greenhouse.
But here is a peek at a couple of the rooms- let’s get started.
Welcome!!
Our new dutch door is wearing simple fresh greens –
I love how the seeded glass reflects the light.
In the kitchen- just a DIY citrus garland on a wee potted tree with a few pieces of copper.
A fresh garland on the table and a chunky tree in a bucket at the end
adds a festive touch in the dining room.
These are our velvet napkins- available in our shop.
Across the way- the fireplace is wearing a frosty garland with pinecones
and natural touches. The snowy branch wreath is a favorite-
and love that the timer turns it on and off every day
And our Frosted Yukon Spruce from Balsam Hill twinkles away in the corner.
Brawner- one of our grand dogs
loves sleeping right next to it. We put the hat on him for a Christmas card photo
and he sat in front of the tree and then decided it was nap time. 🙂
The living tree is covered in simple shades of gold and white- with beaded garlands , crystal garlands and love these beaded ornaments
Down the hall- my office has a wee sparse ‘Charlie Brown’ tree twinkling away-
though it might have changed already- you will see a few changes soon.
I used small ornaments and beaded garland on this beautiful wispy Balsam Fir.
In our bedroom- one of my new favorites this year-
the Grand Canyon Cedar tree is simple French style perfection.
You can see the rest of the bedroom tour here
In the bathroom- just a few fresh greens, candles and blooms
And a cedar wreath above the bathtub.
In the attic- I am still working on this years look- but it might have a wee bit of red from a recent shoot.
and the cutest little mice have moved in too.
Outside- the greenhouse is just starting to get a bit of Christmas cheer
and the barn is already twinkling away.
More of the look in here coming this weekend-
and shop the look with the links above- and
don’t forget to use
I am off to get back to decking the farmhouse halls.
Up next- Zevy Joy-
Happy Housewalking everyone!

This is all just gorgeous. One of my favorite tours I've seen so far. The dog photo . . . oh, my how cute! Now I want to go find a wee tree for my kitchen too!
That barn and dinning room, so pretty! Everything is stunning and brawner is adorable!
So magical! LOVE everything, Courtney! Hope you have a super Christmas and New Years with your family. x
Thank you for another year of wonderful inspiration. Unfortunately the discount code for Balsam Hill doesn't work for the Australian site. But they do make lovely trees 🙂
Stunning as always Courtney but Brawner steals the show!
Courtney, your home is so special and such a joy to tour!
