It is the Sunday before Christmas and pretty much crunch time to get those gifts ordered and wrapped up for everyone on your list.

This year, I have hardly been to the stores to shop- and so have done most of my shopping online – which honestly, might be the new way to shop all.the.time. It is so much easier.
I also didn’t want to do the traditional wrapping paper this year- and have had a lot of questions about that pretty paper from a few recent posts- so am spilling the beans on a very inexpensive wrapping paper idea today.
I tried to grab a few ideas for several categories- and honestly, linked much of what I have been loving and gifting this year. Hopefully my family won’t read this post until AFTER Christmas. 🙂

Books
Of course, what kind of an author would I be if I didn’t encourage you to give my books as gifts? Both of my books are on major sale at Amazon- just $21 and $26

French Country Cottage Inspired Gatherings

But also a lot of my friends have books out as well and they would be wonderful books for gifting too- you can see all the recommended books for gifting in this post 45 Books to Read while staying home
Coziest Gift
My son got me one of these for my birthday- and it is literally the best thing for staying cozy all day. I have even slept in it- it is seriously that warm and cozy. It reminds me of when I was a little girl and would wear my dads sweatshirts – so good. I literally ordered one for pretty much everyone this year- including the grown up boys.
Beauty
I ordered some of this scrub over the summer and was beyond impressed when it arrived – really the best I have found. It is perfect for gifting.
For those who love spa treatments and beauty products- this scrub is amazing. I had been using a similar but 3x more expensive microdermabrasion scrub- and bumped into this one and decided to try it. I am hooked.
Home
Candles are always a great gift idea – they can be enjoyed all winter long while we stay cozy indoors.
And a comfy throw is always on the list as well.
For the Guys
I am loving comfort gifts this year all around- so a warm robe and slippers for the men is on the list.

I am also loving novelty socks, knit sweaters and smoker or grill cookbooks.

For all that Wrapping
I am going in a totally different direction for wrapping paper this year. All year long I have been wrapping the books I sell in my shop in butcher paper and twine – and decided to grab several colors of butcher paper and use them for gift wrap.

I bought red and pale pink and they are so charming- and they are quite inexpensive.

I also grabbed a pale green masking paper (think paint protection) and it is so pretty (and economical) as well.

Happy shopping all!
Courtney,
Would you be kind enough to share information on the beautiful ribbon? The quality looks wonderful. Thank you
Hi Patricia!
It is such a pretty ribbon! I think this is one of the spools that I found at Safeway (grocery store) in the floral department. It was a couple of years ago now- but they may still carry it.
Can you tell me about that beautiful muted green wrapping paper? Ive used kraft paper to wrap gifts for nearly 40 years and finally find that brown is getting a little tiresome!
Hi there, the links are within the blog post- direct linked to the papers I used. The green is a masking paper.
