Welcome to the weekend view. This week has been full of flowers, family, fun and getting ready for Christmas in July.
Eden Roses
Our Eden roses are blooming like crazy and I might be a bit obsessed with how beautiful they are on the greenhouse. This is the first year that they have really taken off -probably because of the huge amount of water they got with our crazy winter. Makes us realize that even when we think we are giving the garden a pretty good soak, with our water restrictions every year, it is nowhere near enough. We are absolutely enjoying the beauty that nature has given us after the stress of the winter weather.
Vintage Fabrics
We decided that Thursdays are junking days over here. My daughter and her fiancé love to go thrifting and so do we- so we are making a regular date. This week, I found myself being drawn to vintage fabrics. Tablecloths, sheets, remnants, blankets, you name it. And they kept going in my cart so I came home with a tidy stack of vintage napkins and fabrics for some upcoming projects.
What do you want more of?
We are working on a new set of totes that will be coming to the shop later this summer. And it is All about those beautiful vintage floral prints. With so many lovely patterns to choose from- I am finding it difficult to decide on just a handful of them. Question: If you were so inclined to carry a floral tote for shopping, etc. what would you like? A large scale print or a ditsy print? Ticking Stripes? Gingham checks? Something else? Would love your thoughts! These prints are not contenders but just examples for a photo here.
Family Fun
We celebrated a birthday and enjoyed a fun filled family dinner day yesterday. Juliette has decided that my daughter is her favorite favorite of the moment and takes her all over the house and yard to play with all the toys, read all the books and do all the fun kid things.
Peonies
And these beauties are coming your way for a special post next week- I am enjoying the burst of floral goodness in the house!
Wandering
This weeks wandering:
This lemon blueberry bundt cake looks amazing and she is food photography goals.
Love these bedding combination ideas– inspiring me to change things up!
In case you missed it- I shared summer bedroom style for Friday Favorites. That blog post email didn’t send so you may not have seen it go up last week. But I have a few changes that are coming in the bedroom- will share more soon.
Something Fun for Christmas In July
I mentioned we are gearing up for Christmas in July- and we have some fun things planned for the month of July to celebrate- and I also have something special that I will be sharing too. The first folks to hear about all the summer celebration fun will be in our Christmas and holiday group on Facebook- that is coming this week so head on over to join if you haven’t yet. Happy Weekend all

I love a ditsy print, but ticking is forever. I think getting snow helps everything bloom heavier. I live in the South and when we get snow things always bloom beautifully. I have great anticipation for Christmas in July.

Your Eden roses are spectacular. They look like they belong in a Victorian garden🌱.
I live in Chicago so personally i don’t enjoy CHRISTMAS in July👩⚖️. However, your tote idea sounds SHABBY CHIC FABU! I adore ALL those patterns so picking just one is difficult.
What bout a double sided tote w/maybe the strap being yet ANOTHER print? Or an INSIDE or OUTSIDE deep phone pocket being ANOTHER fabric? Or a contrasting complimentary lining?
Just sayin’…LUUUV every youvdo🐚🌾🌿🪴🎯
