The 12 trees of Christmas series full of trees and decor theme ideas – and this tree is such a fun one to share today. A tree full of nostalgia and sweetness in the attic. Who else loves a vintage inspired Feather Tree? And loads of layers of charm? This one is for you!

Vintage Inspired Feather Tree
I started with this sweet spindly and sparse ornament tree. It reminded of those charming little vintage feather trees with all the spaces between the branches.

Layers of Nostalgia
I added layers of vintage baubles, paper mache ornaments, vintage wooden ornaments and ribbons to this feather tree. I also draped a citrus garland on the branches and added some layers of lovely underneath. A vintage crochet blanket was a perfect tree skirt and the packages were wrapped in vintage newspaper and tied with crochet and floral ribbons to match the tree.

This feather tree is definitely not a minimal look but I love how it feels so cozy for the attic.

Stay tuned for more up here as we style the next tree in our Trees of Christmas series this year.

Love your vintage tree! I am a collector of vintage ornaments also and love to decorate a tree like that too! It is charming and brings a cozy feeling to our home.
Stunning courtney! you’re truly one of my faves and i own alll your books XO
Wow! So sweet, cozy and full of charm! I actually have this tree already. I love your detail, thank you for resources! May I ask, did you use the “pink” or “white” floral ribbon? And, were you able to use just one orange garland, or 2? Love the crochet ribbon with check as well. Love everything about it. Beautiful as always Courtney! ❤️
