Pretty on repeat over here for a few days of romantic inspired table setting ideas that are so easy to put together and enjoy for sweethearts day and any day. I am joining my Balsam Hill family and sharing some of my favorites for spring – today it is all about mingling a beautiful lit faux garland with a bouquet of fresh flowers for an elegant table for two in the woods.
Table for Two
A table for two full of charm. And fresh fruit for the centerpiece. Something you will see in this mini series is how easy it is to take the same elements from one look and use them to create another different look. In this case- with the fresh fruit and some of the same place setting elements.
What you need
- Lit green garland – This one is so beautiful
- Fresh Fruit- I used pears and orange slices
- Fresh Flowers- a mixed bouquet of seasonal whites and greens
- LED Taper candles
Start with the Garland
This garland is beautiful. Full of mixed greens and white berries- it is a chunky full garland that is perfect for the holidays- and year round.
One of my favorite things about this is that it is a lit garland with lots of glowing lights throughout. Such a great way to add another layer of ambiance on the table- and it is battery operated which means- easy to use anywhere.
Add the Fruit
I placed a few pears and slices of oranges with the garland for a custom look.
You can use whatever type of fruit you would like for a unique look.
Taper Candles
This is one of my favorite things about this centerpiece- these lovely taper candles. They are realistic flickering LED candles so there are no concerns about fire or them blowing out in a breeze.
TIP: To create a more varied look- use two different height candles in the centerpiece.
Pretty Place Settings
To keep with the rustic and natural theme- I used wood chargers and white plates- topped with a bit of copper.
The flatware is tied with a taupe velvet ribbon & the amber glasses are mingled with etched coupes.
The Flowers
I shared the details of this arrangement in the house earlier this week and this is the setting that I created it for.
I placed this arrangement at the end of the table in one corner- so it is offset from the garland and off to one side if that makes sense.
An abundance of beautiful winter white blooms were perfect for mingling with the green garland.
