You might have noticed that I am somewhat obsessed with this barn &
with setting tables for all occasions all year long.
And they are a good pairing I think.
A wee table on the path the the barn with all those twinkles …
and a chunky Christmas tree adding an extra sprinkle of magic.
I am even more obsessed than I was before.
And today for our Farmhouse holiday series- hosted by my friend Kristen
it is all about 3 ways to add a sprinkle of Christmas cheer to your holiday table.
Starting with… candles.
Because, I am obsessed with those too.
These candles are a glittery gold that love to drip so perfectly.
I placed them into vintage brass candlesticks and let them do their thing.
And you can also another idea in this photo…
Cranberries.
For a simple centerpiece idea- I always love to incorporate fruit- Whether it is persimmons,
apples, peaches and figs or something like cranberries and more.
I don’t usually add a ton of red to my holiday decor- but the cranberries seemed to be perfect
for this particular table.
I simply scattered them in the center along with a couple sprigs of eucalyptus.
We already talked about twinkle lights and twinkling trees-
and this is another way to add that cheer – even outdoors.
I placed this chubby Balsam Hill Sanibel Spruce into a basket
and set it up on the wee porch on the barn.
It adds such a sweet touch to the outside- and the lights in the background
are a definite ambiance boost.
On the table today- it is all about simple elegance & vintage elements-
vintage dishes, vintage gold and wood flatware and vintage crystal stemware-
mingling with
the silver velvet linen napkins available in my shop.
These and the cream velvet are my favorites- and you will see them on repeat quite a bit this season.
Up next- you won’t want to miss what my friends are sharing today for their holiday dining rooms or tables-

So beautiful. Where can I find such wonderful drippy candles?
Is there anything more magical than an outdoor tablescape?! Stunning!
This looks so magical with all the lights! Such welcoming environment for guests.
I was so happy to see the vintage crystal stemware on your table. Those are the very same glasses my dad gave me a week or two before he passed away 30 years ago next month. When he first offered them to me I didn’t take them because they really weren’t my style at that time. After he passed, I found them among his things and took them home. They are nice and heavy and have been perfect for my granddaughter to use at the dinner table when the adults are drinking from my more fragile stemware. I’m so happy to see them on your table.
I also love the drippy candles, but haven’t been successful finding them on-line. Courtney, do you have a ” secret source” that you can share with us? PLEASE…
Gosh- I don’t but there are some that definitely seem to drip more than others. I will work on sourcing and putting together a list that do and share it.
No link for the candles? So very pretty.
