Simple little touches of autumn are my favorite.
Just a few pumpkins.
Flickering candles and pretty little eucalyptus or natural touches
here and there.
Last week, I shared a peek at our home wearing a sprinkling of autumn
and today it is all about a closer look at the living room.
I am big on ambiance.
Give me chandeliers and candles and lots of pretty little details that make my heart swoon
and I am a happy camper.
So when it comes to seasonal decor- it is all in the details and creating ambiance
without a ton of ‘seasonal clutter.’
In the living room- I keep it fairly simple.
A few pumpkins on the coffee table
and mantel decor and that is about it.
The mantel is white pumpkins with gomphrena and dried roses this year
and I am loving it.
I will share a closer look soon.
On the coffee table- an old urn filled with Sedum- which several of you emailed to let me know
was Sedum Autumn Joy- thank you!
I love the texture this plant has- and how charming it is inside the house in a rusty crusty urn.
With just a few white and gray pumpkins
It speaks simple natural autumn to me.
For a different look- I brought an outdoor lantern inside
and filled it with candles for a bit of that ambiance and glow.
I am loving how it looks- and you will be seeing more of this appearing
in my porch post coming your way.
And on a small round table behind the sofa- since I changed things up a bit
that urn and sedum moved.
I have to say, I am kind of loving it here even more.
Don’t forget to stop on over and see what all my friends are sharing today
and our lovely featured guest, Zevy Joy
And for another autumn look- stay tuned for more of this look
and the secret those pumpkins have.
Happy decorating everyone.
