HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO!!
I have been feathering my outdoor nest over the past couple weeks.
Cleaning the yard, planting, painting the pergola, & working on the outdoor project.
(Here’s where it is if you missed it: SUMMER LIVING ROOMS)
I do enjoy working outside and
I am so happy that our weather has finally warmed up a bit –
we have been able dine al fresco!
(YES!!!)
I am also starting to get working on planting the window boxes and flower beds.
We plant basil, rosemary and cilantro for cooking too
and these little plants were so sweet!
I love them in the little galvanized pots too~ they are perfect for the windowsill!

Courtney I'd be moving to your backyard if I could *winks* What an amazing space! We still have…wait for it…..RAIN! I'm seriously beginning to wonder if we'll ever see sun again? The hubbs and I were thinking about buying a vaca place somewhere. I'm usually not a huge sun lover, I'm more of a european antique junky…but I'm really having second thoughts about where to buy? So can I just come vaca in your backyard? It's better than most 5* resorts and the company is gonna be great! *winks* Vanna

Hi Courtney…
My friend, I have been following all of your progress in your backyard room and it's simply gorgeous!!! Ohhh yes…I could spend many a leisurely hour out there! I love all of your new furniture with that pretty red and white toile…beautiful! Ohhh…and your table…when you did your tablescape with that fabulous ruffled table covering…totally awesome, my friend!!! Of course, I have come to learn that everything you do turns out FABULOUS!!! You are such a gifted and talented designer!
We are finally getting some really nice weather at our place as well! I need to get busy and get my little veranda cleaned up and my furniture put out. With the harsh winters in Colorado, we always store our outdoor furniture. I, too, am looking forward to planting a few new flowers, etc. Anyway, I am sooo looking forward to seeing more posts of your gorgeous outdoor room, sweet friend! Thank you so much for hosting this sweet party! I'm glad that I was able to participate this week! Back from my bloggin break but having a difficult time catching up! Eeeks!
Warmest spring wishes,

I think it is so smart for the new retailers to get on board with trends in the antique and vintage world. Hurts dealers like me a little, as some perfer new to old as long as they have the look. Thanks for dropping by and thanks for letting me link up-it was fun-see you next week.
