Welcome to Feathered Nest Friday!!

It’s almost the New Year!!
I can’t believe it!!
Wow…
well, I haven’t gotten any decorating or undecorating done this week…
I have been spending some time with family and enjoying my sister visiting, my kids out of school and my husband home.
But,
I am working on a few things this weekend
and will be sharing them very soon- so stay tuned!

I thought I would share a couple of pictures from our Holiday get-together.

I got my beautiful daughter this cute sock monkey hat for Christmas…

she loves it…
and looks like everyone was loving it and enjoying it-
because it seems like every time I turned around…

I guess I should have gotten one for everyone!!
Who knew?!

Aside from musical hats…
there was a little playing music and
a little singing going on…


My brother Chris,
one of my dads


and my son Ryan
played some guitar…


and there was LOT’S of karaoke going on too.
Some of the folks in my family L.O.V.E. karaoke…
once you get them started…
watch out!

All in all,
kind of a wild & crazy day but lots of fun.
(which is kind of how our family is!!)

    Happy New Year Courtney! I love the sock monkey hat and we actually purchased a similiar hat and set of mittens for Glenn's son's g/f! When we saw them at the store I thought they were adorable (took me back to my childhood) but didn't realize just how popular they've become again! Your holiday looks fabulous … full of family and singing and fun! xox

    Hi Courtney, love the monkey hat – seems like everyone else did, too. I send my grown son and SIL on a (usually hilarious) poetic scavenger hunt for their last gift each year – a tradition. Also make two French buches de noël every year, among other silliness. I went back and saved your French farm table construction on my "favorites" for my hubby to make one day. Love. It.     Oh my goodness, it looks like you all had a blast. My family loves to play Rock Band and ham it up, they tell me I can play the tambourine 🙂 I can sing that is about it?
