Christmas decor is starting to appear around the house…
in bits and sprinkles here and there.
From twinkling trees to fresh garlands on the mantels
to a few clipped branches in a vase on the counter.
I am a huge Christmas decorating girl-and love to sprinkle Christmas all through the house
and outdoors.
And this year in the living room- I have some big plans.
Such as not just one tree twinkling away in this room…
I know- obsessed I tell you.
But will save that look for another day.
Today, it is all about the one that is appearing in the front window.
One that has branches that are so realistic in shape and size and feel
that people can’t tell if it is real… or not.
A tree with a soft sage almost silvery green
and sturdy branches.
that go perfectly with whites, golds, silvers and yes, even blush.
I used my favorite ornaments which you have seen before-
French Country Ornaments to decorate it.
And yes… for those who have asked on Instagram
this tree does glow a bit gold in the evening
so it is perfect for a bit of that gorgeous gilded Christmas look.
I kept the decorations fairly simple on this tree.
With the busy I have been craving simplicity and simple charm this season.
I used just the French Country Ornaments
A few lengths of metallic cutout ribbon
and Sugar sprinkled picks
and called it good.
This tree is the Sanibel Spruce a new designer style tree from Balsam.
And it is one of those trees that mimics a real tree- it isn’t perfect in composition
but is perfect in the imperfections which make it seem even more like a real tree in nature.
And this is just the start of the Christmas appearing around the house-
and the start of the 12 Bloggers of Christmas with Balsam Hill.
And coming your way all the way through November 26th-
these bloggers will be sharing as well.
