I did a bit of wandering in the garden before the rain moved in last week- and the garden roses were blooming so beautifully, I had to grab my clippers and bring a few indoors. And they inspired this new series on the blog all about Simple Joys. Today, it is about the simple joy of garden roses and vintage vessels.
Garden Roses
I created a little video of this for sharing on Substack and social- so these are just screenshots of the flowers and process- but you can also watch the video here too.

These are some of my absolute favorites in the rose garden- the peachy pinks of Princess Charlene de Monaco. Such a lovely rose and they smell amazing! I highly recommend. They are mingled with some All Dressed Up and Sterling Silver roses.
Dainty Vintage Vessels
A recent thrift trip brought several darling little vintage porcelain things home that were perfect for vessels. The funny thing- these 3 things were all found in different thrift stores but all have a similar aesthetic and color palette that work well together.

I am quite literally obsessed with each of them. Each were between $1 and $3 and it was 1/2 price day so even less. And even better, they will mingler perfectly with some other pieces I have on hand as well. Stay tuned for a fun styling showing all of them.

Happy Simple Joys Wednesday friends.
