Twinkling lights
little bottlebrush trees
vintage inspired ornaments
beautiful ‘faux’ snow 🙂
and
garland galore
I love decorating for Christmas
and transforming each little space in my home into
a Holiday wonderland.
I put up several trees in the house & tuck bits of holiday here and there.
Sometimes I already have an idea of what I want to do
and sometimes I just see what inspires me
This year,
I headed to Kmart to get some inspiration
and I found LOTS of treasures!
I loved the rich elegant themed decor …
purples, deep reds, bright pinks…
and the icy blue and silver collection…
so gorgeous.
I went to a new Kmart and was amazed
at the selection they had-
several aisles and lots of different colors schemes
to choose from.
The prices and holiday sales were fantastic-
which meant I was able to get even more for decking my halls!
Here are a couple of the things I found that I am loving.
These champagne/ gold muted ornaments- beautiful…
So many glass ornaments
and I loved all the unusual colors of some of them –
this package was on sale for $5.35
I also found a bag of wee bottlebrush trees -on sale $8.03-
that found it’s way into my cart too-
I know just where they are headed!
Love the unexpected green/yellow and rosy deep pink of these…
Then I found some absolutely gorgeous vintage inspired
BIG mercury glass acorn ornaments~
they are sooo pretty
and for only $2.67 each-
you know they had to come home with me.
🙂
You can see all the things I found while shopping at Kmart
in my google+ album Here if you would like.
I’m off to put everything together and I will share the finished decor soon-
but here’s a little preview of some of what I have been up to…

What great finds. I may have to find my way to Kmart. Our is not a very organized store so I haven't been in quite some time.

I haven't been to K-Mart since I've lived in the US (almost 20 years now) – I wouldn't know where the nearest one is, but I do visit my local Walmart at least a couple of times a week. I can't wait to see your house decorated for the holidays!
