We have so many moss covered branches and sticks in our yard right now
thanks to all the tree damage from the recent snow.
I love their vibrant green color and soft and hard textures mixed together.
So I gathered up a few and put them in a wicker basket and placed them
next to the old potting table near the rock fireplace.

Love their look…Earthy and natural and just beautiful in their own way!
I am thinking they would be fantastic for inside the house too
once they have dried out a bit.
Blogger is really slow for me right now and not letting me load many images…
anyone else having problems?
So though there was more to this post to share…
I’ll have to finish it another time.

Hi Courtney,
I love moss too and am lucky to have a place to gather it. I always put it around the flowers in my pots in the summer. Thanks for hosting, this is my first post at Feathered Nest Friday. I've been having trouble with pics too, thought it was just me!

Love the mossy logs! There's just nothing like the beauty of old Mother Nature, I think. 🙂
Thanks so much for hosting!
Oh you are an outdoorsy gal like me! I love my moss, which is everywhere on my property. We are surrounded on 3 sides by wetlands. It unfortunately ends up in my lawn, taking over the grass if we don't remember to regularly add lime. But I love the fuzzy softness of it, on the logs and rocks… it is beautiful in texture and color too! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Courtney,
This is my first visit to your beautiful blog. So much goodness to take in; I'll be returning! I adore your mossy logs and the fact that they are real, not some over-priced faux logs purchased from Pottery Barn! Thank you for hosting this linky party. It's full of inspiration!
Deborah
Courtney, I am having a HORRIBLE time with blogger the last couple of weeks. It just drags and drags. On our site and when visiting others, so it's not just you. Love all of the beautiful features. I am so late this weekend to the party, but I'm going to try and get linked up. My kitchen project is taking priority right now. By the way, the arches in my cabinets have turned out beautiful! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration, can't wait to show them to you. 🙂
