I love this shabby mix of colors…
That gorgeous old vintage green mixed with a soft pale yellow
and natural rusty brown from the old weathered iron..
I love french garden style and old crusty, rusty pieces like this one.
Though the chairs have most of their paint worn away from the years of use
and are a dark rust color
They have a warm rubbed patina that is beautiful in itself
and such gorgeous flower details on the backs.
A wee tiny rosemary sprig creeping out from a galvanized flower bucket
while lavender fills a delightful embossed bin
brings beauty and warmth to the bare winter patio
The shabby rusty patina, graceful scrolling curves
& bunches of flowers on the table
Creates a different warmth and
brings shabby, weathered & worn
to perfection.
Sorry for the post last night and then nothing!
While editing, I think I clicked the save as draft button not publish~ Oops! My blogger has been a bit weird lately too… anyone else noticing glitches?
Anyway, today I am working on re-upholstering the cushions

I love weathered and worn pieces indoors and out! Your patio is gorgeous! The potted Lavender really adds warmth! I'm ready for Spring!
I've noticed some glitches lately, too. The other day, I lost the RSS newsfeed and my Blogger list. Weird!
Hope your week is a good one!

It is all just beautiful…the patina..the photography…and your patio.
I do that all the time by mistake. Hit publish instead of Save Draft and then have to undo the stupid thing. Oh..well…never said we were perfect bloggers now did we? Hugs- Diana

I have definitely been noticing a few glitches with blogger lately but just thought it was me! Nice to know I'm not crazy…or maybe we're both crazy??? 🙂 I love all of your vignettes and they make me itch for spring planting and gardening. I actually have that same garland embossed pot and love it! I feel so "cool" to have chosen something that you, who has such good taste, picked out too! 🙂

Love the old worn patina. It certainly has some beautiful details. Can't wait to see the chairs. Love having rosemary around. I cook with it all the time.
Yes, getting tired of the blogger glitches!

Lovely! I love finding remnants of old pottery or worn garden bits and pieces to use in my designs. I think it reminds me of the old houses and gardens I saw when I was a child and lived in Europe for a while.

I am so anxious for outdoor weather! It's been nicer here, but hit and miss. Love all of your statues. My rosemary is finally coming back after it took a beating last winter! ♥
