It’s the weekend…
and that means a little more sleeping in
a little more pajama pants time before getting dressed
and maybe another cup of coffee before getting moving.
And Saturday also means- random weekend time on my blog.
This and that and everything in between –
and today- we are talking blushing beauty,
Las Vegas, bathroom lighting and more.
#1. Pretty in blush
Something new arrived last week…
and I fell head over heels in love with it instantly.
With the softest blush colored background and bunches of big cabbage roses
I cannot stop thinking about the new look and how it will all come together
that is coming your way soon.
#2. Not talking
My husband brought home a cold last week.
And he shared and it seemed to go right to my vocal cords.
I couldn’t speak for several days and just now am starting to get a little more than a few squeaks out.
And you know…
I half wonder if it wasn’t a plot to get me to be quiet for a few days
since I couldn’t stop talking about all those new projects I have on the Honey Do list…
😉
Either way, excited to share some of the new projects on the 2016 agenda
over here… including another bathroom refresh.
And I will be talking a bit of inspiration in the coming weeks and sharing
some of what I have in mind.
#3. Las Vegas Market
I am excited to be gearing up for a fun day at Las Vegas Market soon.
And I will be speaking on a panel with these amazing bloggers all about blogging and design in todays world
I will also be taking over Las Vegas Markets instagram account and leading a tour of some of my favorite inspirations in the Pavilions. If you will be at Market- would love to connect.
#4. New Inspiration
I was so thrilled to be included in several gorgeous Christmas magazines in 2015
and am so grateful for the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing magazine editors out there. And I wanted to share some new fantastic reads that just came out.
Think Vintage and Colorful.
Think Prairie Style.

And Boho Style.
I got a little sneak peek at the brand new magazine Boho Style and a new issue of a a favorite
Prairie Style and both of them look to be filled with amazing homes and inspiration.
They both also feature some of my blog friends homes which is always so wonderful to see.
You can find them available this week in your local stores.
#5. The Perfect Bathroom Lighting
I have been talking about bathroom lighting over at Lamps Plus this week…
and how choosing the perfect light can be a daunting task.
Do you go with vintage or modern.
Or vintage modern.
Or traditional.
