Happy weekend everyone.
It is a chilly but sunny morning over here and I can definitely feel that fall is in the air.
We were mid 90’s and have a forecast for the 70’s this next week-so it is on the way.
This edition of random weekend is all about
Travel, fall, Christmas, spring 2017 and more.
Travel
One of my favorite parts of my job as a blogger and photographer is that I have the opportunity to travel with the companies I work with and that I feel very grateful to be able to do.
This week, business travel involved a side job I am working on with photography.
It involved flowers, the ocean and a stop at the SF Flower Mart and a favorite bakery in Capitola.
Working as a photographer is a venture that I didn’t imagine I would be doing a few years ago.
It is definitely one that I am enjoying delving into further.
Hydrangeas
A quick stop on a country road when the September light was just about perfect- was the perfect spot for a few impromptu photos for a project.
And a confession… I have photography/inspiration ADD.
And a confession… I have photography/inspiration ADD.
I am inspired by so much and just have to capture it with my camera sometimes.
More on this coming very soon.
Christmas
As much as I am decorating for fall currently, guess what is coming out in the next week?
That is right, Christmas decor. I am a bit late getting Christmas totally up this year, I have had a lot of autumn posts and projects that kind of took over the house.
So it will pretty much be autumn on the porch and twinkling Christmas lights in the house. It is really my kind of crazy fun.
Spring 2017 work
Yes, a boat load of boxes arrived while I was out of town…
and they are filled with all kinds of good stuff.
For spring.
I am working on spring 2017 photography and blog posts for a brand I adore… in autumn.
Again, my kind of crazy. 🙂 But I think you will love it when you see what it is.
Blush Wine Stems
Have I told you how much I love blush and gold? When I saw these, I knew they needed to be mine. And they arrived right before I went out of town- so I haven’t even had a chance to play with them yet. But I did grab a quick peek… and I am in love.
You can find them HERE Keep an eye out for a blog post soon. {affiliate}
Happy Saturday everyone.

Hi Courtney (aka beautiful child bride)! I too fell hard for those same glasses. The absolute perfect blush and gorgeous 24k rims. But beware. I've had to return several. And reorder. Unfortunately some of the gold had come off in spots. If you read the reviews, you'll find I'm not alone. Obviously, Hand wash only. No scrubby sponge, and no lipstick that etches. Don't know what lipstick that is but a friend used to wear it and I have permanent lip etches on my crystal. I still think they're the most beautiful stemware ever.
