I have been embracing the natural touches in my rooms for awhile now.
There is something about wandering around outside to see what inspires you to bring it indoors.
Bringing the outdoors in is so simple~ especially in Spring when there are so many different trees and flowers that are starting to wake up from their winter naps.
We have several trees and bushes on our property that get those pretty blossoms in the Spring
but it’s a bit early for some of them yet and only a couple of them are blooming right now.
I’m not sure just exactly what type of tree these branches are from but they have
delightful little pale pink blooms and such a sweet scent for Spring.
I clipped a bundle of them and brought them indoors to enjoy.
They are so simple~ almost quiet in their decoration really.
These particular ones are more branch than bloom and I love them in the cottage bathroom
in a old galvanized bucket on a wooden chair
So simple and easy to add anywhere and they make a gorgeous centerpiece for a table as well.
This little bathroom is filled with light during the day and I recently changed the drapes to a
Shabby Chic lace balloon curtain found on clearance at Target.
For some reason when Spring comes around- I always start thinking about changing the
window dressings for the Spring and Summer and keeping my eye out for the perfect ones.
One more small touch of Spring in here
Just a tiny bouquet of what is left of those pretty ranunculus
in a creamer dish adds a little bit of color
More branch and nature inspired decor coming your way in the next couple of weeks.
For now~ get ready for loads of fun Spring posts and a party!

Love your vigettes Courtney! Your branches are so pretty! We still have tons of snow so no flowering trees here yet – but I bought some pussy willows at the grocery store the other day to add some spring indoors! I love the look of tall branches like your display!
Such beautiful Spring touches!
Your spring cut branches with blooms is simply heavenly – love the way it makes the room…and your beautiful room is a wonderful backdrop for it!
What a lovely way to bring Spring-time into your home 🙂

Beautiful beautiful !!! OMGOODNESS love it all. I love the colors the branches.. YOU have a way with gorgeous my sweet friend
You are so lucky to have these pretty blooms so easily found close by. I have some forsythia's that aren't ready to bud yet, but soon. I love the valances too. Funny, I plan to look at Target this week for valances for my two bath windows. They are quite smaller than yours…maybe I will just have more pleats.
Love this party!
XO,
Jane
Beautiful. I wish I had a flowering tree in the spring.
Whatever those little pink flowers are they are beautiful, and add a sweet Spring touch .
Hugs, Gee
Just perfect, Courtney!

I didn't see then closely but they look like flowering almond maybe? It's not really an almond tree but an ornamental. I can't remember if it has a scent though. Your pics are beautiful!
Love the spring touches in your lovely home.
I absolutely love spring flowering branches, they are one of my favorite things, and yours look so perfectly beautiful in the galvanized bucket…

You have a way about you Courtney. Always so soft and pretty with your decor choices. Love those unidentified (lol) pink branches. They remind me of all the Cherry trees we have here.
Courtney, you've always got the magic touch!
Hi Courtney!!!!
Where to start?
Right away they caught my eyes. Just the right touch and it gives a subtle scent, that with the natural beauty goes so well with it's surroundings.
I love the white creamer filled with beautiful flowers, but, I love the dish the creamer is sitting on!!!
Your taste in decorating has such a touch of elegance. As I've always said, 'Decorating shows how the person feels inside, who has decorated it/created it.' You have an elegance that comes out in your decorating and I think that it's a beauty that comes from your beautiful heart.
Thank you Courtney for a calming beauty!!
Pam
