Welcome to the weekend view.
This week it is all about a flower market run, projects and something fun for Sweet Pea. Flowers, flowers and more flowers A weekend full of floral work over here- and a few more floral projects for the week ahead. I am tackling a few different flower filled projects currently- and so, have a big beautiful amount of fresh blooms in the house.
Of course the kitchen doesn’t always look like this… but it is always good when it does. I will be sharing what these projects are all about here soon- I think you will like them. For now- here is the beautiful mess before the busy. Sweet Pea We love to bring the Sweet Pea with us on walks- but with her knee issues- she doesn’t always walk too far and we end up carrying her most of the way. Which even at just about 5 lbs- can put a drink in your arm and shoulder muscles after a few miles. So- we looked at a dog stroller – but with the country trails we like to hike- that wasn’t a great fit. So bought a wee dog backpack to try. (affiliate)
She wasn’t too sure about it at first- but we have taken her out for those 5-6 mile hikes in it several times this past week- and she seems to be loving is. She actually starts to fall asleep by the time we are on the way home. So it is kind of the best of both worlds- she can walk until she is tired and we can carry her without causing a crick. And aside from that- she brings so many smiles to the neighbors faces when they see her- so she is spreading joy. On a side note- she has some kind of something on her stomach. It is like a small cyst – but with blood. They tested it and it looked fine thankfully- but the vet wanted to removed it if it didn’t go away in a few weeks. New Year- New Designs Coming your way- a few new designs in the shop, on the blog and more. I already mentioned that the blog is getting a refresh- not sure exactly what day that will pop up- but it shouldn’t be too long until it is ready to go. And I am working on a few new things for the shop – stay tuned for those in the next few weeks. And… stay tuned for something new coming your way this week that is perfect for spring stylings and adding a burst of sunshine to your home- along with a fun Before and After. Garden Planning This week we are starting on that garden project I mentioned. Moving a lot of dirt and getting ready for a new area. I will share the behind the scenes on what we are doing this week- so you can see a step by step to the new area- and once that is wrapped up – we are tackling the yard over by the barn. Because currently it is a bare area with an old shed that is getting a new look.
In other news… I am on day 30 of that 30 days of Yoga challenge. What have I learned? Do I feel any different? What have I noticed body wise and mind wise? Am I more Zen? Would I do another 30 day Challenge? All that coming your way. And I have heard from quite a few of you about wanting to do that as well- if anyone wants to join me on the next one- I will share all the info and maybe we can check in each week in a FB group or something. Stay tuned for a post about that. Coming your way Roma I am working on a post all about our stop in Rome, Italy. We were there less than 24 hours on a layover on the way back to Paris- but we ran around and saw a few things.
Something old I have been collecting again. I know, I know. I am also purging at the same time and decluttering – but I CAN’T resist an incredible vintage find. So, yes, I brought it home. Stay tuned for what I learned about after bringing home. Something new Because, I have to balance things right? I have several stylings coming up with somethings new that I am pretty excited about sharing with you. It might have to do with French Market florals. Something borrowed- Something… coral It isn’t really borrowed….but reimagined I would say. And yes, this week- coral is the new blue. 🙂 I have two table stylings coming your way- one for winter and one for spring. I do realize the winter one is already almost behind us- so may shelve that one for now but the spring one full of bursts of coral is coming your way soon. Happy weekend all.

I hope Sweet Pea will be ok. Not trying to worry you but we had a dachshund that a cyst showed up on her stomach. We kept check on it but it started enlarging. We took her to vet and they asked if she had puppies. No…vet said if not one set of litter or have spayed they will get a tumor which was cancer. Cyst was removed 2nd time but she pasted away on table. She was healthy so GOD needed her in heaven but gave us 14 happy, happy years with us.

Can't wait to read all about your new finds and see you new coral creation. Hope little Sweet Pea feel better soon, too! Hate it when one of the family is ill. 🙂
