Have I mentioned that I am in love with all things French?
I dream of aimlessly wandering the countryside roads and soaking up all the beauty. Of the sounds of my shoes on the cobblestone streets, the smell of the fresh bread and coffee and of living a beautiful French Country Cottage life in France. I actually literally dreamed about getting on a Paris bound plane last night. 🙂
And along with loving all things French- I love French linens. When I was shopping at the antiques market in France last fall- I fell in love with so many of the beautiful linens I saw- and I am hoping to have a nice variety of different colors, styles and looks to be able to offer soon.
New French Linens
After doing a bit of searching- I found a company that was using French Flax to create linens- and that was already creating so many of the things that I dreamed about carrying in my shop and worked with me to customized and add a label.
I instantly loved that their linen is stone-washed- so they have that beautiful well loved vintage crumpled linen look that I love. (Though you can always iron them if you prefer a crisp look.)
I also loved the warmth of this natural raw (unbleached or dyed) color. It feels almost like a warm bowl of brown sugar sprinkled oatmeal and is a perfect neutral for a year round French Cottage look.
The first 2 NEW addition to our own label French Linen Collection are Natural linen ruffled slipcovers and long Ruffled Tablecloths.
French Linen Slipcovers
With lots of extra ruffles and extra long ties- these are going to be on repeat all year long.
They are a medium + weight fabric, natural raw linen color, a larger size with longer, fuller ruffles & has a full width back of ruffles to cover those extra large chairs. For smaller back openings on the chairs- you will need to tuck but that also creates even more fullness in the look.
French Cottage Tablecloths
A classic look- with long ruffles and crumpled linen for a casual feeling. (you can always iron if you would like to) I left them un-ironed to show how they will arrive.
Stay tuned for more of this table setting post
These are Available Now over in the French Country Cottage Market
Supplies are limited to what is in stock- the next shipment won’t be here for about 6 weeks so if you want to make sure to have them in time for the holidays- go grab some – they are ready to ship.
What do you think of these additions to our linen collection? Stay tuned for more soon.
Happy Monday all.

So lovely! I do wish you HAD options for people on a budget. not all of us can afford $45 per Chair slipcovers, UNFORTUNATELY . i do love your design style THOUGH! i always find INSPIRATION from you

I completely understand. I think because of them being European linen- the cost to make is more than cotton. I will keep an eye out to see if I can find a less expensive option to offer that I feel gives the look and quality as well.

Hi Linda, as someone who was in design It may seem pricy but ACTUALLY that is a very reasoNable price for those pretty and well made slip covers. I have seeN smilar for double that price. I aLways save my BIRTHDAY and ChrIstmas MONEY for SOMETHING special. 😉

Have no idea why my comment is a mix of upper and lower case letters. 🤷🏻♀️
