It has been all about simple holiday stylings on the blog recently. Because simple stylings that are easy to put together but that also create a big Christmas feeling in just a few moments are key in the busy holiday season. Earlier in the week was all about outdoor table inspiration with lit ornament garland and last week -I shared a peek of these bottlebrush trees on the table.
Of course as I looked at these bottlebrush trees gathered on the table- I got a wild hair idea. And so I played with them again. And today it is all about creating a charming bottlebrush tree forest in a cupboard. The best part is- you can leave it just as it is- or add your own mix and mingle to make it your style.
Bottlebrush Tree Cupboard Styling
One, two, three, four…. and more. This could not be easier to put together in your cupboard or on shelves. I started at the bottom shelf and mixed larger size trees with smaller size trees and varied the different colors to create a ‘forest’.
Then onto the next shelf doing the same and again. Depending on the size of your cupboard or shelves- you could simply decorate one shelf and achieve a charming look. Or go for the bold statement with several shelves.
I added sprigs of fresh greens tucked into the trees in areas and then used some fairy twinkle lights to add a little bit of magic.
A Mini Village
I thought about adding some little bits to this to create a charming scene. Maybe vintage ornaments, figurines, etc. And then I remembered those lit ornament houses I had on hand.
And so- voila. The forest became a mini village with a mountain of trees behind it.
On the table- I was just starting to play with a glowy garland for the centerpiece.
You can see a peek of it here but stay tuned for it all styled properly.
Get the Look
Happy Weekend all! Stay tuned for more simple Christmas stylings and the first tree in this years Christmas series.

Everthing always looks so much better in quantities. Remember martha stewart? She was the queen. Showcase 1 or 2 pies? Nope lets do 10. Same with dishes, displays Etc. My immediate thought was “i want to eat that” “im going to collect that”…she got me started on a lot of collections!

OK, I thought I had to many bottle brush trees, but now I see I need more. Sorry about the all caps, but I turned it off and they still remain.
