I have been dreaming of a white Christmas tree…
One that is covered in twinkly lights, blush baubles
and lots of simple nostalgic charm.
Today I am sharing a closer look at our bedroom decor for Christmas
and something new.
A few things have changed since that first look in the Holiday Housewalk.
Tis the season, right?
And I am so excited to be joining an amazing group of bloggers and friends today
if you are coming over from Randi Garrett Designs–
welcome!
And isn’t her room (okay- entire house- amazing?!
I shared a peek at our bedroom here earlier this season.
A traditional mantel styling with fresh greens and a chunky magnolia wreath
and our frosted tree all covered with pretty blush baubles.
I draped a simple hand tied eucalyptus garland on the bed
and placed fresh greens and bits on the nightstands.
and a wee little vintage inspired Santa taking a nap on the juniper.
And for our tree- we have a frosted tree in the bedroom that is one of my favorites.
I love putting up a full size tree in the bedroom- the twinkly lights at night while relaxing in bed are
perfection.

This tree is covered in blush mercury glass ornaments
You can see more about them HERE
But a secret… I originally planned to put up a white tree in here this year for a different look.
A white tree seems to be a little extra sparkly. Extra bright.
Extra filled with all things Merry and twinkly…
maybe it even has a little bit more Christmas magic.
The Denali white tree was a little late arriving for this season as it is a brand
new tree for Balsam Hill and it just arrived the other day.
So of course I had to play with it and style it a bit while getting it ready to photograph for them
just to set it up and see how it looked. And if you follow me on instagram- you already
know that it knocked my socks off.
I decorated it lightly with just very few of those blush
mercury glass baubles that I love so much
and you will find a few more of them here and there as well.
I set this tree up in the corner right next to the antique mantel.
And styled the mantel very simply as well.
Just a few chunky knit stockings and candles.
and a couple of blush faux fur pillows on the floor-
which Sweet Pea thinks are hers.
I woke her up as I was working and she sat there looking at me with wild morning hair
and I snapped a quick photo.
An old hatbox filled with ornaments, french antique style candlesticks and vintage brass beauties
and will be sharing a closer look at this styling as well as the one that was here earlier in the season
next week. It is amazing how just a couple changes- and the whole look changes.
You can see more of my Christmas bedroom HERE
I love the warm glow coming from the tree
and candles flickering away.

I don't own a Balsam Hill Christmas tree, but have a couple different ornament sets from them as well as tree picks and ribbon. Their Christmas decorations are so beautiful! I completely understand your love for them. Beautiful pictures of your home and Sweet Pea <3

I'm oohing and aaahing as I look through all the beautiful photos. Courtney, you did an excellent joy. Everything looks magical and so breath-taking. And then, well, and then I think where do you store all of these beautiful trees and decorations? Do you have a secret way or storing them. I know that is so boring but to me it's important. I can use any storage hints I can get. I love, love your decorations! They inspire me to do more. Have a great weekend.

I tried to purchased the blush ornaments but when they came they were not really blush. Are the blush a limited edition?
Courtney says
Did you purchase the ombre? The French Country set comes in various sets with different colors. The Ombre are the ones that have a blush mercury glass.

I am mesmerized! Beautiful shade of green stocking blending well with the eucalyptus mixed with the sparkle of the tree with the green of the tree showing through and the vintage candlesticks love the vintage color. So much to see. Love the ambiance! Christmas is such a joyful time full of blessings. Have a blessed Christmas with your family.
Any idea where to find artificial eucalyptus?

Hi Nancy!! Thank you for your compliments! And actually, I do have a good source for an amazing faux eucalyptus wreath and garland- I shared them in this post here if you want to take a look at it. 🙂 Merry Christmas! http://www.frenchcountrycottage.net/2016/01/eucalyptus-wreath-garland-with-secret.html
