It’s Thursday already!?
Where did the time go this week?
It’s incredible just how quickly the Summer days and weeks have disappeared.
Cullan starts Junior year on Wednesday …
and Ansley starts 8th the following week.
Uhmm…
Whatever happened to AFTER Labor Day for school to start up?
Starting school in the middle of August just feels wrong
on so many levels.
I want to squeeze in more beach days
naps in the chaise
more lazy mornings sleeping in late.
I haven’t finished half the outdoor projects I thought I would this year
and my Summer Girls party is late -late- late...
Usually I have it in June…
right now, I am looking at dates in September!
Aye…
the time has been flying by this summer for sure.
So I am off to enjoy the last few lazy days before the
school schedules and chaos kick in.
Hope you all are having a wonderful Summer!!!

I feel the same way about it all going too fast but you have gotten way more done than I have my friend! 🙂 Thanks so much for hosting and I'm off to visit some of those features!

I am so glad I am past school days. Our county schools started last Monday. Just too early and too hot for school.
Thanks for hosting and have a terrific weekend.

Like your photos with the clock. I have been favoring clocks a lot. Wonderful features too. I have a college freshman, a junior, and a first grader! That doesn't seem right, they just grow up too quick. Have a great rest of the summer and thanks for having us over!

Courtney you are so right. I doesn't seem right to send kids back when there is so much of summer left. In our areas it is not uncommon to let school out early b/c the air breaks.. here's a thought finish the summer out! Thanks so much for the party.

Oh I am totally with you on the school thing –it is CRUEL to send a child back to school before Labor Day. that 3-day weekend is the traditional end to summer, and the timing is perfect.
Shame on the districts that yank kids out of summer to go back mid-August.
Around here, it's still after Labor Day… although my kids are long out of public school.
Lovely images! and thanks for hosting, as always.
Best wishes for a wonderful summer weekend — Cass

Hi Courtney…
Ohhh…I know what you mean, my friend! I really don't know where the summer has gone to. We haven't been this busy in such a long time. I also hear ya about school starting back in August…eeeks! When I was a kid, we always started school after Labor Day…of course, we didn't get out until June sometime too!
Your photos are gorgeous, my friend! They make me "long" for the beach. I used to spend alot of time at the beach when I lived in south Texas. We are a long ways from water now! Hehe! Thank you so much for showcasing these beautiful party posts from last week…they truly are insirational! I will have to go and check them out! Also…thank you for hosting this sweet party! I'm so glad that I could join in this week…even though I am running really late! Hopefully things will settle down soon and I can get back into my blogging routine! Hehe! I hope that my note is finding you and your sweet family all doing well, Darlin'! Do take care!
