I noticed a particularly pretty trend at High Point Market this spring.

It had a little to do with rich bold blues & pretty elegant golds.
And you know-
those colors were catching my eye everywhere I looked.
In accessories, large and small furniture, lamps, rugs, you name it.

So, let’s take a walk on the bold and beautiful side-
starting with a little bit of the Midas touch.

I have to tell you- this bar cart was speaking my language.
It is brassy gorgeous gold and such a great modern design.
And it is affordable- Sauder Furniture knocked this one out of the park.

Of course gold and beautiful goes perfectly with bold and navy- and yes, yes, yes- this was a favorite mix and mingle of mine at Bernhardt. And can we talk about those chairs? So pretty with their subdued pattern.

At Theodore Alexander it was all in the lighting and details-
And over at Hurtado–
the chandelier, the mirror and the gold fabric on the chairs spoke a touch of regal right away.

I definitely do love gold in a room- from furniture, fabrics and lighting.
And another pretty trend I saw?
Blues.

Though I am a girl who has an abundance of white and textures in my designs

And as always as Nourison Rugs – beautiful blues rein supreme.
So there is a little sprinkling of blue and gold spotted at Market this spring.
