Summer Peonies…
Gorgeous ruffly blooms
in passionate pink and snow white.
These peonies were at the market the other day sitting in a galvanized bucket
looking so sweet and cottage romantic…
A perfect tabletop bouquet for a shabby dinner,
fantastic on a sideboard for some cottage charm,
or just by themselves on a chair
simple and beautiful.
They were marked $10.00 each bunch originally,
but marked down to $3.00.
4 little bunches of them came home with me
& I have been inspired by their beautiful blooms
and intoxicating scent for days.
Each day, they are opening bigger and more of their ruffly
beautiful layers come out.
Seriously loving them.

I am loving the peonies right now. I guess it's partly because their season is so fleeting? I love buying them in tight balls and watching them grow so huge.
