I have a huge love of pretty…
Pretty Christmas trees, pretty twinkling lights, pretty baubles
& pretty packages with bows.
I have a confession.
I am one of those people who go into places like HomeGoods
and spend 20 minutes sorting through the gift wrap looking for the perfect colors
patterns and styles for Christmas… in June.
And I bring them home and then load up on ribbons as I find them
and basically when it comes time to wrap presents, I am ready to go.
Except for by then, I have found 5 other beautiful papers that are must haves.
And then there are those pretty little gift boxes…
The ones that don’t require any paper at all.
This year, I used 3 different colors of pretty papers & gift boxes for different trees and looks.
And I am sharing a few favorites with you today.
Pretty Papers
This blush with gold stars wrap? Yes, please.
I love the pretty elegant and charming look it has
and it is perfect for mixing and mingling with those pretty blush gift boxes.
Gift Boxes
What do I love about gift boxes?
First- they are so easy for wrapping gifts.
Second- pretty presentation
Third- they look beautiful under the tree all season long.
Blush & Gold
What is not to love? Blush and gold, round and square – yes, please.
I love them stacked and tied with grosgrain ribbon
and for a topper-
something simple like a clipping of eucalyptus pods.
Natural and Simple
Under that Napa Valley inspired tree..
it was all about those natural touches.
As much as I love the blush and gold gift boxes,
natural brown paper one spoke to me as well.
I love the delicate gold detailed edging
and how perfect they look tied with blush ribbons.
Simple string ribbons
And mingling with a simple brown paper dotted with gold trees and tied bakers twine-
Bakers twine is super inexpensive and super charming.
Something Different
This is one of my favorites.
It is actually a white wallpaper and I had an extra roll in the basement
after papering my daughters ceiling- and used it for a few presents.
Add a barely blushing ribbon and sprig of fresh eucalyptus and call it good.
And another one in that photo as well-
that gorgeous white and gold birch patterned paper.
I am obsessed with this one – found at HomeGoods in the spring
(remember how I said I start buying for Christmas early? Yep)
It has a definite rustic chic vibe with the gold details and I love it paired with soft –
like the nude satin ribbon.

Happy Monday everyone
So pretty! We are spoiled in that most French shops offer gift wrapping. I've learned a lot from watching their clever methods.
I would hate to open the gorgeous packages. Every year I try to do a theme — I like having packages match. I know some people may call it a little obsessive, I just like the look of uniformity. I would love to sit in your house, sip on coffee, and just enjoy the beauty and the lights. What a beautiful winter wonderland. Have a wonderful day!!
Gorgeous, gorgeous!….Simply elegant…I loaded up my cart at Target with those fabulous Sugar Paper line of boxes and paper!…
