Welcome to the weekend view.
Mornings in the Garden
I have been enjoying my coffee out in the garden every morning by the sunrise. It is such a beautiful peaceful time of day and though I need to get up a tad earlier, it is well worth it. That slower start to the morning really helps me to align myself for the day and reflect on goals, dreams and what I am working towards. I highly suggest taking your cup of tea or coffee outside and soaking up the sunrise to start the day if you don’t already do that. I love taking a moment to notice the garden areas that are growing in strong and blooming beautifully each day.

Family Fun
We have been babysitting some of our grand babies several times in the past week and that means there is a whole lot of family fun happening.

We usually load up the babies in their strollers and take a walk to the park so they can play for a bit. Then it is home for a sweet treat and some water fun out in the backyard.
Photo Shoot Fancy
A couple of fancy fantasy type photo shoots happened recently. Though I am not one to photograph people as much as chairs with flowers- I am learning a bit more about doing just that and expanding my photography work a bit. Something I have learned- if the subject talks to me as in- if the subject is something that inspires me -the scene and/or subject is a joy to capture. Sweet Sophie was the perfect model for this inspired shoot.

Moment of Joy
The full moon last weekend really sent me in a bit of a doozy energy wise. Between not sleeping well and juggling a lot of balls in the air, I was pretty zapped all around. At the same time, I have been making an effort to get up a bit earlier to be able to soak up the sunrise to start the day and we decided to head out for an early morning walk on a favorite trail. It is a path we have walked many times but this time, it was early enough in the morning that the sun was just popping up from behind the mountain. The sun blast that shined through the trees created a beautiful magic filled view while we walked. And with the crisp morning air all around – the warmth of the sun rays on my skin felt like a cozy hug. I took a deep breath and enjoyed a moment to simply soak up the feeling and give thanks for the day and the beautiful view that morning. I took this screenshot below from a video I was taking while we walked- I love how much rainbow sunshine lovely you can see in the sunlight. Pure magic.

Happy Sunday friends.
