Happy weekend everyone.
I hope you are staying warm and dry. It has been a rainy couple of days here but I have to admit…
the sound of the rain falling outside simply inspires me.
You would think that I would long to live in a rainy place like Seattle maybe… but I am a big time sunshine and warm weather girl. But when winter rolls around- rain is perfection.
This week I have been working on several things that I will be sharing in the next couple of weeks.
But today, it is all random, all the time…because, that is how I am on the weekends.
Moving and shaking
I am moving furniture this week.
Well, okay… with the help of my big muscle kids and husband.
Do you ever just look around and decide that nothing is right in a room? I am there.
So, I am moving things around and making changes and nothing is safe at the moment.
One thing that has been in the living room for several years is moving on down the line to another spot. Any ideas what it might be?
Bedroom changes
Yes. Changes there too.
I know I have been hinting at the changes in the bedroom for awhile now- and am excited to share a few new things with you.
I actually have just a couple more things on the agenda to change-
but stay tuned for details on the furniture (a new bed!) and 3 different looks
just by changing the bedding.
For now- Sweet Pea on the bed looking like her adorable little fluffy self. And she only weighs 4 lbs but you would never know by looking at her. That amazing amount of fur covers up the tiny.
Take me away
I don’t often times share things like candles… but something happens the minute that there starts to be a chill in the air. I go to HomeGoods and load up on candles.
And this one in the bathroom? Simply smells AMAZING.
Coastal Christmas
It is always a treat and honor to see my work appear in print- and this month-
an outdoor Christmas tree from a couple of years ago.
It found a home among some of the most amazing Christmas homes I have seen in
one of my absolute favorite magazines- The Cottage Journal.
A little spooky
I am not a huge Halloween decorating kind of girl.
But sometimes, you just have to get that spooky on for a little fun.
Coming tomorrow morning- a look at something Halloween I worked on with Balsam Hill.
And spoiler alert: It isn’t scary.
😉
In other news:
I love this burlap painted pillow.
And this recipe for apple crisp had me at hello.
And if you are looking for a delicious recipe for lentil soup- I have you covered
and you can see more of that simple pumpkin centerpiece HERE
This week, it is all about wrapping up autumn stylings.
I have a feel good delicious and healthy lasagne (without noodles)
recipe coming your way along with a table setting
A few more sprinklings of autumn
and some fun collaborations coming up.
Happy Sunday everyone.

Congratulations! I'm not surprised, your photography and styling really needs to be in your own design book, with your blog's name! Sweet Pea is a ball of silk:). Love this post, full of inspiration., Kathleen in Az
