Welcome to the weekend view. Photo shoots & working ahead, silly goats and family & a favorites for game day.
It’s beginning to look a lot like
Christmas… in February. Yes indeed. I kind of live in Christmas world all year long over here- so it is definitely not unusual for me to have twinkling trees in the house anytime. This week, I worked on a photo for print for a publication- and it just happened to involve a snowy Christmas tree & a couple of our silkies wandering and enjoying the twinkle lights.
Game Day Cheese Board
Favorites always on repeat for any occasion get togethers – a delicious cheese and fruit board. These are easy to customize with your favorite nibbles- you can find 21 Essentials for a delicious cheese board HERE
Broody Hens
There are 3 broody hens in our coop at the moment. They growl and fluff their behinds up and won’t come out of the coop on their own. It seems to always start with one girl deciding to be broody- and then others decide to join her. Sage is currently one of the broody girls. The other day I brought her out for those Christmas photos and she was not having it and kept wandering back towards the coop. She somehow managed to get through 2 fences to get back into the coop and her favorite box in just a couple of minutes.
Silly Goats
A little video compilation of the goats from instagram that I thought you might enjoy.
Floral Ticking Curtains
This week, I am taking down the vintage curtains in the living room to clean them- and I am thinking they just might go up in a different spot instead of back to their usual. Side not- this is an older photo from 2014.
They are also something that I get asked questions about often- since they are vintage I don’t have a direct link for them but will do some browsing to see what I can find to get the look.
