It is that random weekend time again.
Musings and thoughts from the week that was…
and a look ahead to what is coming up.
This week has been a busy fun one-
that involved travel to one of my favorite cities with one of my favorite brands,
inspiration from France
and a whole lot of randomness.
Blogger Day
Last week was all about HomeGoods and New York City.
I am mildly obsessed with both HomeGoods and New York-
so you can imagine what a great trip it was.
HomeGoods invited the Design Happy Bloggers as well as some of their other social network influencers for an influencer event in the big apple.
I have been working with HomeGoods for almost 5 years now- and it was so good to see my HG family- and to meet several new faces at dinner the first night.
The next day was blogger day- and was filled with soaking up knowledge.
We had speakers from Pinterest and Instagram come to give us a bit of the insider look at how things work- and it was an incredible day full of inspiration.
NYC
Say the word New York City and I am all about soaking in as much as I can.
I extended my stay by a couple of days and enjoyed running around visiting some favorite spots- as well as going to a couple of meetings about some exciting work stuff coming up.
I will delve more into blogger day and NYC in a separate post-
because I took about 100 photos as usual.
But here are just a few of what inspired me as I wandered.
Laundry Room Refresh
Thank you so much for all your love on our laundry room refresh.
I cannot believe how simple (and inexpensive)
it was to completely re-do this closet and make it look pretty.
Coming your way next week-
a break down of each change we made, where to find what we used and tips on how to do it.
As you probably know –
our laundry room is up against some competition to win a contest over at Angie’s List-
and you can vote for it once a day if you are so inclined.
La Vida Loca in Las Vegas
I am off to Las Vegas Market next week- and am excited to be exploring and blogging about some of my favorite companies and trends.
If anyone is going to be there- I would love to connect and say hello!
French and French Blue
If you love French style- you may love the details here: Something French Blue
Since we are talking travel and favorite places to visit- check out this post about all about
And last year at this time- I posted all about Flower Market Friday
And with 2 stops planned in the next week- you will be seeing more inspiration soon.
Coming your way this week:
A simple and charming flower arrangement that is so easy to put together.
All the details on the laundry room refresh
A table setting that is all about bold and beautiful
and more.
Happy Weekend everyone.

Your laundry room (buanderie in French) has me wanting to redo mine, in our gloomy basement. But first we have finishing touches on our rental apartments. One is all ready; the other one almost!
