It is no secret that I am a huge fan of setting the table
for a special occasion or an everyday occasion
and spring tables are always fun.
With an abundance of fresh flowers and pretty pastels
mingling with rich elegant colors
spring and Easter table settings are perfect for dazzling guests.
And they are so easy to style.
From the stemware to the flatware to the flowers-
today I am sharing a round of up of favorite touches that you can add for your
spring and Easter tables.
1. Mix and Mingle
Some of my favorite table settings have that mix and mingle
from flatware to dishes to stemware.
Don’t be afraid to mix colors, styles, sizes when it comes to the table setting elements.
There are so many options for different looks that are all unique
and that mix and mingle gives your table a feeling of being collected over time.
I am in love with these barely blushing beauties
and of course gold rimmed stemware is always elegant and perfect.
And if you are feeling blue- these goblets are favorites
that add a burst of color.
2. Flatware
From gold and bold to silver and vintage-
choose the flatware that is perfect for you and your table- and then dress it up.
A couple ideas?
Tie silverware with a ribbon and a sprig of flower
for a sweet touch.
Or use simple twine wrapped around the handles
with small blooms tucked in.
3. Centerpiece ideas
For a unique centerpiece
fill a silver dish with small plants to create a ‘garden’
and place a large chocolate bunny in the center.
And I have to include a few favorite easy centerpiece ideas
Fill a basket with fresh cut flowers
or even with potted plants if you would like.
a simple centerpiece created with nothing but vintage bottles
and ranunculus
and that easy 5 minute cabbage centerpiece
I shared earlier this week
4. Storybook Charm
For an Easter table with a dash of childhood charm-
think rabbits and book pages.
This table mixed in a bit of that whimsy on a grown up level.
This little rabbit is a vintage garden statue
that was perfect for placing on a few book vintage pages
along with flowers.
And don’t forget little robins eggs for a soft color and charm.
5. Chocolate Eggs
These are craft store eggs- but for an edible treat for your guests
think Jordan Almonds or spreckled eggs candy
in small dishes at each place setting – which is sure to delight.

Beautiful.
What lovely tablescapes!!! Your guests must always be so delighted to dine at your home. I love putting together special table settings – especially for holidays like Easter. Today, I picked up some great plates from Williams-Sonoma which I am going to incorporate into my Easter luncheon tablescape. The preview will be on my blog tomorrow (simplysantabarbara.blogspot.com). Best wishes for an enjoyable holiday.
