There were more than a couple refreshes and changes shared at French Country Cottage in 2016.
And yes… I have even more planned for 2017.
And already, there are a couple that have been taken apart, put back together,
photographed and are ready to share.
But before zooming ahead- I am taking a stroll down memory lane with
the top 5 refresh posts in 2016.
This old house is always changing it seems.
From a fresh coat of paint to a new look in an old bathroom, on the patio
or a new piece of furniture.
And today we are talking before and afters in 2016 here at the cottage
and as far away as Nashville, TN.
In the spring it was all about something new.
And this year, there was a new look out on the patio.
Wicker chairs, plump pillows and a new rug made over the area perfectly.
In April, my oldest son and I traveled to Nashville, TN with Lowe’s to give one of my readers
an outdoor makeover.
We designed the space and had a great group of volunteers that came to help us
get everything put together for the family.
My bedroom has had a couple of changes this year- and would you believe that I just realized
that I haven’t shared all the details with you yet? So the new look, new furniture and paint colors
are all coming your way- but I did share the new chandelier.
And this one took a bit of time to put together…
In the dining room, it was all about simple and easily changeable changes.
I used a vintage inspired French canvas wall mural to cover that huge chalkboard
and give the dining room a completely new look- that can also go right back to the before with one simple change.
Ahh the kitchen. The room that has had several changes
and has several more on the agenda for 2017.
This year saw that old island top replaced with a chunky piece of marble.
And there are even more refreshes coming your way in 2017.
From simple furniture makeovers to more renovations in our house,
outdoors and out in the cottage.
Including a makeover with big impact -on a teeny tiny budget.
Happy Friday everyone.
